Commemorating the International Museum Day 2018 (May 18th), on the next da, May 19th, Tsarskoe Selo will join St Petersburg's Museum Night and the European Night of Museums for the sixth time.
Our special attraction for the Night is the exhibition Tsarskoe Selo 1917: on the eve… at the Cameron Gallery from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Presenting some of our collection’s most notable artifacts, this engrossing and dramatic display tells a story about how the imperial summer residence lived between the two Russian revolutions in 1917 (see left, click to enlarge).
On the monumental steps to the Gallery’s second floor with the exhibition display, the vocal group Anthem will greet our night visitors with its marvelous a capella performance of early twentieth-century music.
After a tour of the exhibition, our visitors will enjoy new promotion videos of the Museum and a pleasant walk in the adjacent Maids-of-Honour Garden (below click to enlarge) with the sound of flute in the background.
Exhibition tickets (Rub 200, adults) will be available on the day of the event at the Catherine Park’s main entrance ticket booths and at the Cameron Gallery.
Already available at all our park ticket booths: Common Entrance Pass for Museum Night (Rub 400)
