Romanov Dynasty

Housed in a row of six rooms adjoining the suite of formal halls, the Romanov Dynasty exhibition chronologically presents material about the crowned owners of the residence: from Empress Elizabeth Petrovna to the last of the Romanovs. Their personal characters, tastes and interests, reflected in formal portraits, furniture, bronzeware, porcelain and other items from the museum collections, tell the story of their over-150-year life in the residence.

The exhibition is open during the museum hours, but it is currently closed for maintenance till January 2011.
