July 23 through September 30, 2014, the Grotto pavilion of the Catherine Park houses a colourful display of modern and historical porcelains produced by the St. Petersburg Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, which is celebrating its 270th anniversary.
The exhibition presents over 200 objects from the maker’s Heritage fund and a number of items from the Tsarskoye Selo collection.
The old and new pieces are put together to manifest the modern reverence for the traditions of artistry established by Russia’s oldest porcelain manufacture.
